Effort level 1
The Gentle Hatha Class will begin with a few moments of meditation, focussing on the breath to calm the mind and relax the nervous system. Students will practise many of the postures covered in a regular Hatha Class but with modifications, using props to assist and ease into a pose.
As we move through the poses, we will link the movement with the breath to produce a “flow” of postures that move smoothly from one to the next. This class will help build strength, flexibility and muscle tone. It will improve balance and concentration.
You will be encouraged to listen to your body and move at your own pace.
