A gentle and accessible series of classes designed to calm and centre your state of being. This workshop—rooted in the yoga tradition and informed by recent research findings is appropriate for people experiencing acute or chronic stress, anxiety and those feeling overwhelmed and in need of finding peace. Beginners, as well as those with previous yoga experience, will benefit by: • Practicing gentle movements which help to dissipate nervous energy, focus the mind and reconnect with mind-body experience • Learning practices that facilitate deep rest, relaxation and the release of long held tensions • Learning how to balance the stress response system and regulate mind and emotions • Learning how to utilize Ayurvedic diet.
