A 3hr Workshop & Retreat (all rolled into one!)
The word “healing” resonates deeply, its essence reverberating beyond the physicality of tissue and bone, reaching past belief and identity, landing in and emerging from one’s deep sense of Self.
In this 3 hour workshop/retreat you will learn traditional Yoga practices that support healing in body & mind and which deepen your sense of connection and inner peace. We will touch upon some gentle physical practices (yoga asana) though the focus of this program is on practices that help you to find ease from your inner struggles and which help you to reconnect with that deep sense of self, where true healing happens.
Participants will engage in an experiential journey into the heart of Yoga through appropriate movement, conscious breathing, contemplations, journaling and guided meditations. You can expect to:
Explore transformative mind-body practices that help you to experience (re) connection and ease in body, energy, thoughts and emotions.
Learn tools that help you to foster compassion and understanding and cultivate an unfolding of clarity, insight and heart-felt presence in your self-relationship and relationships with others.
This workshop is suitable for most, including people living with chronic conditions, people recovering from illness for individuals experiencing a sense of struggle in some aspect of being. It is also appropriate for those simply wanting to slow down and have some R&R. Newcomers to Yoga are welcome!
