Barb started practising yoga in 2006. It was the non competitive nature of the practice that attracted her. While initially Barb’s goal was to build strength and flexibility, she quickly realized the many other benefits to body, mind and spirit which lead to a daily meditation practice.
As a former elementary school teacher, Barb was eager to participate in the 2012/13 yoga teacher training at Bliss Yoga Studio. She thoroughly enjoyed her experience under the guidance of Jelena, Havovi and Marco.
Barb enjoys a variety of yoga styles- the intensity of Core and Vinyasa classes to strengthen body and mind and the calming experience of the Hatha practice.
Barb is excited to share her knowledge with others and looks forward to continuing her yoga studies.
