Restorative yoga is physically gentle practice in which participants are guided through supportive poses with the goal of achieving deep physical relaxation of body, and quietness of mind.
This class evolves through gentle stretching, focused breathing exercises and restorative yoga poses using soft bolsters and supports to achieve deep relaxation, grounding and letting go. The class concludes with a 15 minute savasana.
Restorative Yoga facilitates a quiet awareness of our bodies to release stress, physical and emotional fatigue and reduce feelings of depression and anxiety to promote overall well-being.
