NIA Light Dance

Nia is a design system for sustainability in the body. It is a routine based class borrowing movements from the Dance Arts (modern, Duncan, Jazz), Martial Arts (Tai Chi, Taekwondo, Aikido), and Healing Arts (yoga, Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais). The class is done barefoot to music that comes from all over the world. No dance experience required and all ages, body types, and fitness levels are welcome! The movements are taught on the spot and dancers are invited to move at their pace and level.
