Teens are happy to discover that regular yoga practice builds a stronger, muscular body, calms the mind and balances out the mood swings due to hormonal changes. Many teenagers and young athletes are active in sports that develop certain muscle groups. However, they often overlook flexibility of the spine, back, arms, and legs. Yoga stretching poses are highly beneficial in correcting this imbalance to strengthen muscles that are not used in sports training. The stretching may be challenging at first, but with regular practice, the body becomes more flexible and the poses easier. With a stronger body, teens build self-confidence and self-esteem. With a relaxed and calm mind, yoga helps teens to better understand complex life issues.

Pregnancy is a unique time in life to be honored and enjoyed. The class starts and finishes with classical restorative asana's to relax the body and mind. Meditation, pranayama and Yoga Nidra are practiced to restore your body’s energy. Many teenagers and young athletes are active in sports that develop certain muscle groups. However, they often overlook flexibility of the spine, back, arms, and legs. Yoga stretching poses are highly beneficial in correcting this imbalance to strengthen muscles that are not used in sports training. Many teenagers and young athletes are active in sports that develop certain muscle groups. However, they often overlook flexibility of the spine, back, arms, and legs. Yoga stretching poses are highly beneficial in correcting this imbalance to strengthen muscles that are not used in sports training. Kundalini Core Level I/II - Powerful and energetic mix of great Kundalini Kriyas for navel strengthening and variation of Yoga poses for building the core. Each class focuses on three aspects of the core system: abdominal strength, lower back and pelvis. The classes are dynamic, they balance prana and apana (life force and eliminating force), and they bring sense of wellbeing. All poses and breathing exercises are used to activate our navel centre, the seat of our power. Prenatal Yoga, Jessie 7:45-9:00pm, 10 weeks

Pregnancy is a unique time in life to be honored and enjoyed. Prenatal yoga classes are a great way to share in the experience with a group of other pregnant women and be able to relax and focus completely on your body, and on your baby. We practice gentle yoga poses, breath work, vocal toning and meditation, with the intention to relieve some of the common discomforts of pregnancy, (from back ache to ankle swelling) and prepare for labor and delivery. Explore the power of meditation, and learn meditative tools for balancing, healing, awareness and peace. This workshop is both theoretical and experiential, no prerequisite required.
