Meditation to Heal and Balance, 6 sessions, Fridays 6:30-7:45pm - Jelena
Friday, January 20, to Friday March 2, 2012. (No session on Friday February 17)

Start your weekend with a calming, self-reflective class, for physical, mental and emotional healing. Learn meditation, Yoga Nidra and guided visualization techniques to relax, rejuvenate and revitalize. Deepen your focus, concentration and improve your memory. Connect to your deeper states of being, your True Self, and allow healing and transformation to take place. These techniques can also help with physical pain, insecurities and excessive worrying, emotional imbalance, anxiety and depression, insomnia, addictions, eating disorders, and trauma.
This workshop is 6 weeks long and is for beginners as well as intermediate and advanced Yoga practitioners (no prerequisite required and no Yoga poses will be practiced). All meditation techniques will be performed sitting on the floor/chair or lying down on the Yoga mat. We will use blankets and pillows to help with discomfort. If you require special assistance please let us know. The facilitator of the course is Jelena Duma, founder and director of Bliss Yoga Studio, Yoga and meditation teacher and psychotherapist in private practice.
