Introductory Workshops
Beginner Ashtanga Yoga, 2 sessions, Sundays 3:00-4:30pm – Havovi
Next session Sunday, February 26 and March 4, 2012
Introduces beginners to the principles of Ashtanga Yoga. Learn basic Ashtanga techniques; deep breathing (Ujjayi breath), Sun Salutations, standing poses, balance poses, seated and beginner inverted poses. Ashtanga Yoga helps you build flexibility, core strength and reduces emotional stress. This preparatory workshop is a great prelude to Havovi’s regular Ashtanga classes. Sessions can fill up quickly. Register early.
